One of the ultimate configurations of the W124 chassis, the 500E is often referred to as a wolf in sheeps clothing. The 500E was built through a collaboration between Mercedes and Porsche. A subtle identifying feature is the wider front and rear wheel arches. Improvements in suspension and braking were also incorporated to compensate for the extra power of the 5.0-liter V8 engine. This is one of the ultimate Autobahn highway rockets.
